The Ojai Retreat
The Ojai Retreat is located in the historic Ojai Valley – a small city in Ventura County, California, northwest of Los Angeles. Known for its peace and breath-taking beauty, the Ojai Valley attracts tourists from near and far. Ojai is also known for its special mystical atmosphere, so has attracted writers, musicians, artists, philosophers, and thought-leaders. Ojai is a quaint village dotted with art galleries, boutiques, cafes and small parks. Visitors enjoy strolling around the village and experiencing the small-town, friendly feeling that Ojai is known for.
Our retreat lies in the west end of the valley, and has panoramic views of the mountains. Our guests enjoy the views from our flagstone patio, strolling along the nature trails in our gardens and sitting by our waterfall.
Our property has 12 guest-rooms, most of which are located in separate cottages which offer incredible views.. Our Main House has a spacious Meeting Room which is ideal for gatherings or celebrations. Upstairs is our quiet Reading Room where guests can retire in silent contemplation.

Our mission is to provide an exceptional stay and service experience to anyone who is seeking sanctuary and pause from our busy world.
We specialize in offering our facilities for personal and group retreats, work retreats, art retreats, writers retreats, yoga retreats, spiritual retreats, conferences, workshops and of course weddings!
We are also connected to a non-profit organization, called The Ojai Retreat and Cultural Center, which offers talks, lectures, workshops, concerts and other meaningful events to the local community. Click here to learn more about our non-profit activities.
